Mega Development Trying to Pry Open the Doors to Excelsior

After hatching plans behind closed doors, the Emerald Fund, Bridge Housing, and the National Electrical Workers Pension Fund are proposing to build 251 market rate units in the heart of the Excelsior, one of the few remaining working class communities in SF.
Luxury housing is NOT the solution. The neighborhood is unraveling with more than 700 tenant evictions, including 25 of our neighbors who had no other options but to live in the basement of the Excelsior Clean Wash Laundromat. Local mom & pop businesses are facing rent spikes from greedy landlords. This proposed monster development will be out of reach for low-income, working residents across the District.
Raise your voice at this developer meeting and hold Emerald Fund, Bridge Housing, and the National Electrical Workers Pension Fund accountable! Any way you look at it, this is a raw deal!
